After seeing the new trailer in December (which is down below!) I had to reread and BUY new Berserk Mangas… It’s been about seven years since I watched the first anime and about five years since I read the manga. Damn, Kentaro Muira takes forever! D: The new anime is going to take place after the Golden Age Arc. Seriously take a look at it!

Berserk is clearly a very loved story. You can tell by how detailed and oddly eerie AND pretty Kentaro Muira’s world really is. The more I read the more I am in awe of the traditional pen and paper art.
You won’t regret starting this series, I guarantee it.

Also, my significant other has almost finished (I’m so slow!!) what has been published of Berserk (in English) and told me that Vol. 13 onward is where the original Berserk Anime from 1997 leaves off. So maybe you can start there instead?
Take a look and see if this might be up your alley if you’ve never read or seen Berserk before. It’s deliciously gruesome and a classic.
