Make Your Own Studio Ghibli Garden

japan1

I’ve been thinking about gardening this year to celebrate Spring. Especially after learning about Spring Equinox in Japan. I don’t have a whole lot of space to make a grand fairy garden like I would love to in the future, so I was thinking of ways to enhance my cute little yard. Then I thought, making a Totoro or my favorite, Princess Mononoke garden. Check it out!

I love this Etsy store RukawaBeads. They have lots and lots of Totoro options for putting in your garden or even making your own Totoro Terrarium. Those are always great if you live in an apartment, but want to add a little nature to your decor!

This store also has some Spirited Away models. The No Face minis gave me a bunch of cool gardening ideas or even little terrariums! It reminds me of the sets of Buddhas you can get that symbolize different things. Also having Yubaba peeking around a flower pot would be very fun!

I wish that this Etsy store RukawaBeads had more Princess Mononoke options. You could fill up random places full of Kodama figurines if you wanted! Some actually GLOW IN THE DARK! Very cool!

Then last there’s Kiki’s delivery service!

Mix and match and create your own Studio Ghibli garden with items from RukawaBeads on Etsy. This is going to make for a really fun project! Tell me about what you do or even take pictures! We can bounce ideas off each other.
